With just a swipe of your card (any card issued by a Bhutanese bank, or any VISA branded card), you can enjoy the power to purchase goods and services from our local merchants and service providers while being assured the highest level of security.

For merchant establishments: Business Establishments, Merchants, Utility Service Providers, Tour Operators and Ticketing Agents, Hotels and Restaurants can apply for a Merchant POS terminal by visiting the nearest branch of the BNBL during office hours.
