Types of information
“Personal Information”: When you register for and use the BNB mPAY Mobile Banking App, you provide us with information which we will store and process. While some of this information is already known to us, such personal information may include your name, address, phone number, email address, account numbers, and other such ‘Personal Information’.
“General Information”: BNB also receive more general information from you as a result of your use of the BNB mPAY Mobile Banking App. This general information does not identify you personally, and can include information such as the length of time you spend using the BNB mPAY Mobile Banking App, the types of transactions you make using the BNB mPAY Banking App (e.g. what fund tramsfer you made, etc) and other such ‘General Information’.
While information is the foundation of our ability to provide superior customer service, our most important asset is our valued customer’s trust. Keeping customer information secure and using it only as our customers would want us to, is a top priority for all of us at Bhutan National Bank.
This is our promise to our customers:
- We may disclose information about you as permitted or required by law.
- For purposes of credit reporting, verification and risk management, we will exchange information about our customers with reputable reference sources and clearing house services.
- We will always maintain control over the confidentiality of our customer information. We may, however, facilitate relevant offers from reputable companies. These companies are not permitted to retain any customer information unless the customer has specifically expressed interest in their products or services.
- We will continuously assess ourselves to ensure that customer privacy is respected. We will conduct our business in a manner that fulfills our Promise in the many nations in which we do business.
