Background
As a responsible corporate citizen, Bhutan National Bank (BNB) has been giving importance to its social responsibilities for several years. The Bank is conscious of its role in society and not only conducts its business in an ethical manner but also undertakes philanthropic and socially responsible activities.
Towards this end, the Board of Directors of the Bank, in support of this effort has been magnanimously approving generous budget every year to pursue Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of the Bank.
Invitation of Proposals
Therefore, BNB would like to solicit Proposals matching with our CSR themes from individuals, NGOs, non-profit making organizations, agencies, and institutes.
Engagement of Youth
Proposals are also invited from progressive youth in groups, who may be having ideas and interested in implementing CSR activities under the direction and support of the Bank.
CSR Themes
In 2019, BNB would like to utilize its CSR funds to implement projects and activities under the following themes approved by the Board:
- Waste and Environment management
- Youth Engagement, Education, Entrepreneurship, and Employment
- Promoting Financial Literacy
Proposal Submission
Interested parties may collect Proposal Submission Form from the HRA Department, Corporate Office, Thimphu Bhutan (contact person Ms. Lhaki Delma, HR Officer). The deadline for submission of proposals is 10:00 am on 6 May 2019.

Proposal Screening
Proposals will be screened for, among other criteria, relevance to theme, social impact, visibility and impact for the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
